Newel post and railing were stripped and mounted sturdily in the new house

This decorative sign was torch cut out of a piece of steel from the floor of an old dariy barn. The steel loops were welded on and was hung from pressure treated post frame.

Bathroom constructed of reclaimed materials from old house including - pine floors, antique clapboard used for wainscoting, old closet doors used to make vanity, door and window moldings, farmhouse sink and claw foot tub were refinished to complete this one-of-a-kind room

The word salvage as defined in the dictionary is:   Something saved from destruction or waste and put to further use.

This is exactly what we have set out to do.  All of the pictures shown below, have materials that were salvaged from an old farm house that was being demolished.  Using these materials, not only created a stunning masterpiece, but also helped out the environment by saving the materials from going to the landfill.

Projects can be created using your own salvaged materials, materials found, or from my growing collection.
